    1. Thiss is true I never really noticed how much we use cotton in our lives and we live in TEXAS the number ONE producer for cottion. So sad! :(

  2. My favorite major crop that we talked about in class was peanut butter, because I learned that the "bad" part of peanuts is also used as fibers an ground down for animal feed.

  3. My favorite major crop that we discussed in class is cotton. I like cotton because we use it to make our clothes, and I like clothes. It is also very unique to me because you are able to change the color of it to any color of your choosing.

  5. My favorite major crop is corn because i learned how many things it is used for. It is used in some paper, as an adhesive for wallpaper, and to feed livestock.It's also used to produce a biofuel called ethanol. - Cameron Scott p.6th

  6. My favorite crop is cotton. Mainly because of the different uses we have for it. While yeah many crops have different uses and what not, cotton is used differently than most. We use it to make cloth, which to me stands out compared to all of the others

    1. Yes, cotton is used a lot and it stands out compared to other crops. Most my clothes were made from cotton and I like it a lot. Besides it can easily be dyed and washed.

  7. My favorite crop is peanuts, because we not only use the nut but the shell to make things like fibers and feed instead of just throwing it out.

  12. My favorite crop we talked about was cotton because most of my clothes are made out of them and texas is also the main producer of cotton so it was pretty cool talking about it in class. -Shelby Coleman 6th period :)
