What is the benefit of making your own compost?

  1. The benefit of making your own compost is that you can get nutrients from the compost which will increase plant growth and you don't have to pay for it. Also compost is organic so you won't have to worry about what kind of chemicals are in it.

    1. That's right! Chemicals can sometimes have an unexpected result in your crops, therefore, by making your own compost you know what you are putting in.

      some of the chemicals they put into there compost is bad even harmful to the plants... that's why making your own is safer.

  6. The benefits of making your own compost is that it is low or no cost. You can build your own compost which can save you money. The compost provides fertilizer to the soil which allows your plants to grow. Food and waste could be made into a compost instead of using garbage bags in landfills.

  7. Compost can be purchased at any garden supply center, but it is very easy (and less expensive) to make your own. Whether your garden is indoors or out, compost will help all your herbs grow better and that's why is beneficial to make your own compost.

  14. The benefits of making your own compost is that one ours organic with broken down material to have biogeneous compost, also you can put earthworms who's waste also has beneficial qualities to the soil as well. Making your own compost is all around a good thing fir everybody.
