Its important to know the basics. Later on in the year we will learn more complex terms. Its easy to know the basic plant parts so when we go to plant in the greenhouse we will know how our plant is growing.
It is important for you to know the basic structure parts and functions because in order for us to grow any crop we need to know what parts of the crop helps it absorb more sunlight and things like that. And knowing the basics is what will keep you from killing it instead of growing it.
